Carleigh got her first pony at the young age of 3. After participating in a variety of disciplines and show organizations, including 4-H, USPC, AQHA, USEA, and USDF, she migrated to Lexington Kentucky to pursue a job in the thoroughbred breeding industry.
Working her way up the ladder, she found herself as first the yearling manager and eventually the assistant manager and head of sales operations at the prestigious Hinkle Farms, breeder of G1 winners such as Divisidero and Weep No More.
In 2012, Carleigh returned to the University of Kentucky to obtain her doctorate in veterinary sciences, with a focus on equine reproduction. During this time, her passion for retraining, rehoming, and selling off the track thoroughbreds helped her maintain a stakehold in industry.
Luke Sullivan
Luke also grew up with horses always within the family. An avid foxhunter from a young age, his family eventually migrated to Sewickley, Pennsylvania, where he worked within the Sewickley Hunt Club, the birthplace of the farm name.
Luke journeyed to Lexington, KY to enter in the Taylor Made Farm Intern Program, where he became immersed in the in’s and out’s of the thoroughbred breeding industry. Upon graduation, he was hired as the assistant manager at Courtland Farm on the Chesapeake Bay of Maryland for a few years before returning to Lexington to continue his journey in farm management. Now having worked on such prestigious farms such as Taylor Made, Don Alberto, and Mt. Brilliant, he has committed to this industry and this breed for life, and continues to deliver and raise these horses to their fullest ability.
